Axis

A range of axis for plotting functions etc

Expanding and Factorising Quadratics

An interactive resources to help students practice expanding and factorising quadratic equations.

The coefficient of x² is always one for this, if you want to change this check the box at the top which reads ax² and then at least one of the coefficients will change.

Expression for the nth term

Worksheet/IWB generator for most common arithmetic sequence questions at GCSE.

Graphs and Free Kicks

Power point taking students through all the stages to being able to plot and describe a linear function. Nice link and game to scoring free kicks at the end.

Inequalities

Worksheet/IWB generator for range of inequality problems. Includes a difficulty level indicator (1-easy...5-hard)

Sequences and an expression for the nth term

An auto worksheet generator offering differentiated questions one finding the nth term, using the nth term to find a term or a sequence.

Simplifying and Area

A delightful worksheet challenging students to find the area of a range of shapes in terms of a and b. The shapes are constructed from square, circular and quarter circle tiles.

Simplifying Expressions

Practice simplifying simple expressions using either pyramids or product/sum grids.

Solving Linear Equations against the Clock

Select the level (gold, silver or bronze) and an allowed time. Pupils are only allowed to sit down when then have solved the equation. There is also an additional page with ten practice questions at each level, the first two answers for each level can be revealed for quick feedback, then the remainder by clicking on either gold, silver or bronze.

Solving Quadratics using the Formulae

A plenary exercise (could be used with maths basketball) and a differentiated worksheet, both with answers.
